A: Care to Kick It is a day for our community to join Care to Learn and kick poverty to the curb! On this day, money raised will combat the issues surrounding poverty in Springfield.

Q: I own a business, how can I help?
A: Care to Learn asks all business owners in our community to join us by giving a percentage of their earnings on March 25 or by having a special promotion in their business during the month of March.

A: Our media partners will be helping drive people to shop local at participating stores for Care to Kick It.

A: You can see a listing of all the participating businesses here – along with a map to plan out your route!
Q: What are some ideas of promotions businesses are doing if they aren’t giving a specific dollar amount or percentage of their sales?
A: Anything and everything! We encourage you to be as creative as possible and would love to brainstorm ideas with you. You could do a promotion on a special “green” (for Care to Learn’s green) drink or ice cream cone, display a collection jar at your register, donations based on test drives – the opportunities are endless!
